The Greensboro Club, NANBPWC, Inc. is invested in its members’ professional and career development. We are able to assist our members under the rubric of Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Technology and Service (LETS). The service pillar (often referred to as “Service” in the LETS acronym) includes “Health, Education, Employment and Economic Development (H.E.E.D.)” as a component of the club’s mission. The association provides structured opportunities for its members (business and professional women) to prepare for leadership positions in their careers and communities. This enables our members to gain skills in governance, decision-making, board service, organization leadership, this builds confidence and professional visibility. As members grow into stronger leaders, the community benefits from their more
effective service, advocacy, and project implementation.
Economic-development programs may include job training, business support for underserved entrepreneurs, community investment, and partnerships that stimulate local economic growth, reduce unemployment and strengthen the local economy. The integration of member development (Leadership/Entrepreneurship/Technology) with community service (Health, Education, Employment, and Economic Development) positions Greensboro Club’s business and professional women to serve outward. For members, this dual approach builds their professional capacity and their community impact, making membership personally enriching and socially meaningful.
